I have to take issue with the statement (unsigned) that
people without specific content education don't have enough
expertise to do much of anything (a paraphrase, my email
          reader doesn't do quotes).

Ahem...I have a degree in Music, and an MBA with a
concentration in non-profit administration, and have done
reasonably well in my 15 year or so career in NYC museums
and public gardens. I've worked in administration,
development, programs, not curatorial, though I've had
          curatorial departments report to me...

So, I guess I'd just have to say that the posting to which I
am responding is, well, wrong. Also, PLEEEEZE sign your
          posts.
