It would appear I am not the only smart-aleck on the list (horror!
surprise!).  For my private e-mail box has been filled with notes reminding
me that staff, too, use the doors, and may inadvertently let in pests.  This
must stop.  Perhaps by barring staff from the premesis, we can prevent
further degredation to the collection.

For that matter, every time we bring collections into the buildings, we open
ourselves up to infestation.

And then there's still tha pesky Newton and his law of entropy.

Of course, it is unlikely that mice enter the building at these moments.
Mice live indoors; rats live outdoors.  The mouse most likely was already
there.  (How did the mouse get there in the first place?  Spontaneous
abiogenesis, I presume.)

And I won't even *tell* you the comments made about Indiana by their rude
neighbor to the west.  :)
