MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS SPECIALIST

The Wisconsin Maritime Museum is accepting applications for the position
of Marketing and Public Relations Specialist.  The Marketing and Public
Relations Specialist coordinates the Museum’s public relations efforts,
plans and implements special events, undertakes targeted marketing
efforts, and supervises the Museum’s customer service staff.  The
successful candidate will be energetic, have excellent oral and written
communication skills, strong organizational abilities, an ability to
work with people of varying backgrounds, an interest in working as part
of an enthusiastic team, and experience in working with the press.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelors degree in marketing,
communications, or related field and three to five years previous
experience, preferably in a non-profit organization.  The Wisconsin
Maritime Museum is a private non-profit and Wisconsin’s largest maritime
museum.  The Museum is well-known for its innovative programs and its
National Historic Landmark World War II submarine, the USS COBIA. This
position offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and paid
