Howard,
I beg to disagree.  Since large historic institutions often set the pace for
the rest, I think this discussion is important many of museum-l subscribers.
(What else might explain the fury of list activity around this subject?)  It
may very well be an issue we all face in the future, and developing a
thoughtful opinion on drug testing in a museum context is within the
boundaries of what is real in the museum world.
