THURSDAY, February 22
Creating Your Web Site
- The basics of electronic publishing
- Introduction to the Hypertext Markup Language
- Standards:  SGML and the HTML Specifications (2.0 and 3.0)
- The basic HTML elements:  structural versus physical tags
- Using HTML Editor
- HTML Exercise 1:  Hands-on exercise creating simple HTML pages
- Including images, sound, and motion video into Web pages
- HTML Tips and Tricks
- Netscape extensions and future directions of the HTML specification
- HTML Exercise 2:  Creating more complex Web pages

FRIDAY, February 23
Managing Your Web Site
- Continuation of hands-on HTML markup (if needed)

  technologies (content, services, merchandizing, and more)
- Advanced HTML:  forms, image maps, and tables
- What makes a good HTML page?
- The do's and don'ts of good Web pages
