Robert is right about the build up of dust being a moisture trap. Proper
maintainance is very important, but the rule of thumb is anything that
comes out of a spray can is no good. The exception is "Endust" which is
merely sprayed on the rag to pick up loose dust.
If you feel the need to polish, a high quality furniture wax is the
answer. or just leave it alone and occasionaly dust. Feather dusters are
not a good idea either as the feathers can break leaving a sharp edge.
IMO, a chamois works the best as it does not create static electricity,
making the surface a dust magnet.
