Hello fellow Museum-L'ers,

I'm posting this request for a coworker who is not yet on Museum-L (but I'll
get her subscribed quickly) ...

We're looking for ideas for utilizing a large costume/textiles collection,
and seeing if anyone out on the list has some experience in this. We're
seeking some new ideas of how to utilize our existing collection, in terms
of display and education. Currently, we put on several exhibits of our
historic costumes/textiles a year, but we're looking to try something new
and innovative, such as web-based display, first-person interpretation, and
even some hands-on activities that would revolve around our collection.

If anyone's tried anything like this with a costume/textile collection, or
just has some ideas, please drop us a line! Email my colleague, Megan
Spagnolo, directly at: [log in to unmask]

(As I said, I'm the message-bearer; I like our costume collection, but I
deal more with machinery, cars, planes, tools, etc.)

Thanks, and any help is appreciated!
