Beth,

In addition to the responses you get now, you should try searching past postings for this list and the Archives list. This question has come up before on one or both of them.

The Archives list can be searched at: http://listserv.muohio.edu/archives/archives.html

The URL for searching the Museum list is at the bottom of each message.

Anne

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Use of Ebay for disposal of deaccessioned objects

I am interested in hearing from institutions re: the use of Ebay for disposal of deaccessioned material.

Does your institution allow disposal of deaccessioned material via Ebay auction? Why or why not? Any other thoughts or information would be helpful.
