Hello - a few suggestions:

You might want to get in touch with the Masters of Museum Studies program
at University of Toronto and the Woodland Cultural Centre in Brantford,
Ontario specifically (but not exclusively) concerning work in this area by
Dr. Deborah Doxtator (Mohawk), both a curator and scholarly critic of
exhibitions by and about ongwehonwe; her masters thesis on Iroquoian
Museums and her publications in MUSE and (WCC exhibit catalogue) The
Women's Mind are important works.  Other texts such as LAND-SPIRIT-POWER;
First Nations at the National Gallery of Canada (1992) and a cataloge of
Native art called REVISIONS (Walter Phillips Gallery, Banff Centre for the
Arts, 1992) are also wonderful.

Let us know what you find.
Respectfully,

Sam Cronk
