A local architect can probably give you a ballpark figure.  He/she will
need to know if you are including the cost of collections storage shelving,
etc.

Subject:        construction costs

I'm wondering if anyone has approximate figures for square footage costs
for new museum construction. I'm looking for a general, overall cost per
square foot. I realize there may be wide discrepancies depending upon the
kind of museum and what's included, but I would appreciate any replies.
Please mention the general size of the museum and any other qualifications.
