You're giving of your time with little or no
recompense because you love museums and/or you would
love to work in one.  You're committed to the place
where you donate your time and have proven an
invaluable resource.

You may be an intern and thought you were getting a
glorious position only to spend your time in a closet
entering data.

You're an eager volunteer who never misses an
opportunity to be there or to tell someone in the
community what a wonderful place your museum is.

In essence, your its best PR person and an ambassador
to the community. And yet, you may feel overlooked or
overwhelmed by this big forum.
