While I found the whole experience of Ellis Island
incredibly moving (I cried on the ferry to and from
the Island at the thought of all the ancestors before
me who made the passage), I truly enjoyed their oral
history, narrated in part (at least at the time) by
Tom Brokaw. That added to its quality.
