Happy New Year!

     Just a quick reminder that there is one week left to submit your
     applications for the Kay Paris Memorial Award.  This award is not a
     travel stipend, but provides a resource package to the recipient:

     * one year membership to the RC-AAM
     * one year membership in your regional registrars committee
     * The New Museum Registration Methods, edited by Rebecca A. Buck and
     Jean Allman Gilmore
     * Registrars on Record, edited by Mary Case
     * A Legal Primer on Managing Museum Collections, 2nd Ed. by  Marie C.
     Malaro

     Each year, our goal is to give an award to one qualified applicant in
     each of the six United States regions.  To qualify for the award, an
     applicant must be an entry level or new registration professional in a
     nonprofit United States institution, and employed for a minimum of one
     and maximum of three years.   Selection is based on the applicant's
     present abilities, potential for development, and commitment to the
     profession.
