I recall that the Coast Guard did, or is doing such a thing. I believe there
was an anniversary, such as the 200th anniversary of the estab. of lighthouses
for which the Coast Guard did some special publications.Sorry I don't know
their historical office's number but the information for the Coast Guard(as
part of the Dept. of Transportation)is (202)267-1587. or you could call the
Naval Historical Center Library at (202)433-4131. A reference librarian there
surely would know.
