Question for the group, seeking information...

The museum at which I work is planning a major renovation and redesign, and all of the collections and other items in storage and on display are to be moved to a temporary location for updating the catalog. This temporary location is an empty building nearby, and has been unoccupied for several years. The concern is that there may be mold in the air conditioning system, in addition to mold that has been visually confirmed in two locations in the building.

Are there any commercial products that can be put into the air conditioning system that will eliminate the mold? If so, what are they and where can they be obtained? Additionally, what steps would be recommended to eliminate the mold visible in the building, so that we can proceed with packing up and moving everything into the new building?

Thanks!
