Being relatively new to this list, I am amazed at the amount of debate
revolved around wether or not its appropriate to post resumes. Being a
fresh graduate expelled into the harsh, cold real world, I too understand
the difficulties associated with finding a job at a museum. I think it
would be beneficial to have a place where people can post their resumes
just in case an employer is actively seeking a certain type of individual.
So let me ask you this, do you think people would participate if I were to
offer a webpage where job seekers (museum related of course) could post
their resumes? I would be willing to host a site on the grounds that
there would be no editing on my part and it would basically just be a link
to whatever file I am sent via email. I am aware that there are pages out
there where you can post resumes, but due to the debate on this list, I
wonder if there is a need. Please let me know what you think.
