Since my promised to send out the results of my not-so-scientific study of
how people have found the list to be their means to employment- here they
are:

I got about 80 e-mails from happy employers and employees (and even a few
from both the staffer and the boss- both happy) about finding
staff/employment as a result of a job that was posted on the list-serve. And
as a group pat on the back for those of you who found a job via the job
posted on the list- the employers had wonderful, glowing things to say about
those staff members.

However, on the people who had success with "I need a job" posts, I got no
happy stories. Some sob stories, but no happy endings.

So there are some not-scientific results. Take from it your lessons. I'll
say one thing I learned- save money on advertising and just send openings to
the list first!
