Don't forget the wonderful collection of toys and dolls at the Strong Museum
in Rochester, NY.  They translate them into wonderful exhibits.  And, as I
remember, they're also very good at collecting contemporary toys.

Also, for toys/licensed merchandise related to TV and Film, there's a great
collection at the American Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens.
