We have recently acquired some pages of artists' stamps, on paper with water
soluable adhesive on the back. We would like to include these in a small
traveling show, so they will need to be securely mounted. We want to
display the entire sheets, but I am reluctant to stick the entire sheets down
onto rag board. For in-house shows I have used clear archival photo corners
and put release paper behind the sheets to insure that they did not stick to
the backing, but this method will not be sturdy enough for travel. Any
thoughts or ideas from the conservation community? Thanks. -S.
