For our prestigious art gallery client, we are seeking an Advertising
Manager. 
The successful candidate will work with graphic designers and print
and press contacts to coordinate monthly and other advertising schedules
for the gallery; review and edit designs as necessary; liaise with
advertising departments of major arts and other media outlets;
manage and prepare all related invoicing; manage deadlines;
incorporate and resolve new design and content initiatives as required;
other duties as necessary.
BA in art history, graphic design or related required: prior experience
in advertising or media strongly preferred. Excellent coordination,
communications and organizational skills essential.

+++ SENIOR SPECIALIST/DEPARTMENT HEAD, PRINTS, NY AUCTION HOUSE +++
For the New York office of our internationally renowned auction house
client, we are seeking a Senior Specialist/Department Head in Prints.
The successful candidate will generate business, develop and maintain
business contacts and strategic opportunities; identify and maintain
relationships with major clients, dealers and collectors; liaise with
Estates & Appraisals with a focus on generating new long-term
relationships; work with buyers during sales week; research and
catalogue works for public and private sales; work on catalogue
production and layout; review photo inquiries; coordinate sale set-up;
other duties as necessary.
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years experience with prints
with a focus on the Contemporary market, and proven appraisal and
business getting skills. BA in art history required, MA preferred.
Excellent communications, interpersonal and organizational skills
essential.
Salary to 75K DOE with excellent benefits.
