New England Archivists Fall meeting
"Reflections: Looking Back, Looking Forward"
October 27, 2001
Yale University, New Haven, CT

Presentations from current students are being sought for NEA's student
forum. Presentations should be 10-15 minutes long and relate to the care
and use of archival documents and the archival profession; paper topics in
related areas (for example, history, librarianship, museum studies,
preservation and conservation) are welcome inasmuch as archival theory
and/or practice figure prominently.

Submissions for consideration can be sent to the NEA program committee in
care of:

Anthony Reed, Archivist
Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site
99 Warren St.
Brookline, MA 02445

Presentation proposals should be received by October 1, 2001 and should
include at least a working draft of presenter's paper, author's address and
phone number, email and fax number (if available), institutional
affiliation and current resume or CV.

In lieu of speaking stipends, NEA will waive conference registration fee
for student presenters.

"Of all our national assets, Archives are the most precious; they are the
gift of one generation to another and the extent of our care of them marks
the extent of our civilization."
