The Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) and the Michigan Museums 
Association (MMA) are accepting session proposals for the 2007 joint 
conference, No Museum is An Island, which is scheduled for September 25-28, 
2007 at the magnificent Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island, Michigan.  The 
deadline for submitting proposals is Wednesday, January 31, 2007.  The 
conference will explore how museums engage in creative partnerships, both 
with other museums and community organizations.

are available on the AMM web site at <www.midwestmuseums.org>.  For

The 2007 conference will feature outstanding sessions, unique evening events, 
and a conference setting like no other.  The conference will open with a gala 
evening reception at the Grand Hotel on Tuesday, September 25.  The 
conference will also feature a dinner reception at and tour of historic Ft. 
Mackinac, a National Historic Landmark.
