I am looking for works by Jes Schlaikjer. He was an illustrator and portrait
artist. He did many WWII posters, including posters for the Red Cross.
He also did many portraits of military officers including Dwight D.
Eisenhower. I also read where he was the official photographer for the
Eisenhower Presidential Campaign.
Schlaikjer grew up on a homestead in South Dakota. I eventually want to put
an exhibit together of this man's work. Please e-mail me direct. Thank you.
