  Thank you to all who responded to my inquiry regarding possible consultants for
a new San Francisco History Museum to take the place of the de Young Museum
currently in Golden Gate Park.  As some of you may already know, this plan has
been challenged by the San Francisco public who have voiced their wish that the
de Young stay in GG Park.

A few new measures will be put on the ballot in the fall to help pay for seismic
upgrading and new parking facilities at the museum.  Until then, the SF History
Museum plan has been put on hold.
