£8.72 - £9.89 per hour) Based in Woking, Surrey, with some travel. This is a casual contract, for 180 hours. May include some weekend working. JOB PURPOSE To provide support to the Museums Development Officer, and staff of SMart (Surrey Marketing the Arts) and Toshiba, on preparation of a funding bid for a joint project (Regional Arts Lottery Board). The project is for ten museums or galleries to work with schools, and Toshiba staff, to develop an interactive, educational, fun, creative website. MAIN TASKS 1. To research the project, including meeting with partners, and potential artists-in-residence (digital artists). 2. To liaise with ten museums and galleries, where the project will be delivered. 3. To prepare the application to the Regional Arts Lottery Programme. 4. To co-ordinate a digital recording activity for children at the ten museums and galleries (i.e. liaise with museums and galleries, and Toshiba staff).
