   What to do to assure that there is a standard, adequate, rate of pay
   for museum professionals,  and that there isn't somebody waiting in
   line to take the job for an inadequate salary when you are holding out
   for a living wage?

   Can you say: "organize?"  How about: "Union?"  "Museum workers of the
   world unite, you have nothing to lose but your chains?"  I'm not
   advocating this as a course of action, but it is the only response to
   this question that has ever proved effective, in my knowledge.
