After working in museums for several years, I've gone back to graduate
school, and I'm currently doing an extended ethnographic study of the
PRACTICE OF CONSERVATION, the KNOWLEDGE BASE OF THE PROFESSION and the
SOCIAL UNIVERSE OF CONSERVATORS.
 
I would appreciate conversation, opinions, anecdotes and other more formal
information from conservators especially, but also from others who interact
with conservators and conservation scientists as part of their job duties.
 
Also useful would be literature citations of other work on this subject.
