No matter how many letters you have after your name, how employable you
are simply comes down to whether you went to college and/or grad school
to learn, or to simply get the credentials.  Those who invest themselves
in their education will ultimately be more worthwhile additions to
museum staffs than those who grudgingly spent the time and money to
get the MA or PhD.  Higher education should be both a means and and end.
I look forward to graduate school because I want to learn, not because
I want a master's degree.
