Edward,
 A local Fort Worth artist, who is also on the printmaking faculty at
Texas Christian University, made a series of fine art prints of hobo
signs.  I think he did most of his own research, so he may have an
interesting perspective.  His name is David Cohn.  The main campus
number is (817) 924-7000.
