     Junk!!!  Hey!!!  Those little pieces are (potentially)
     valuable to archeological researchers.  The suggestions
     you've gotten about "batching" the items in like groups
     are the correct approach.  All the window glass from a
     specific excavation unit (ie., level 4, test unit 3,
     etc.) should be batched and given one number.  You can
     count them, or weigh them if they're too small to
     count.  Don't lose the provenience from whence they
     came, or you might as well toss them out.

     The "interesting" ones are usually referred to as
     "diagnostics" out here on the plains.  Good luck.
