Posting this to several lists, so please excuse the
duplication.  The American Association for State and
Local History (AASLH) is extending the preregistration
deadline for the annual conference -(September 29 -
October 1) to AUGUST 5.  The meeting will be in
Omaha, Nebraska.  It looks like an interesting
conference, with sessions on educational programs,
collection management, interpretation, heritage
tourism, and legal and ethical issues.  There are
a number of roundtable discussions that will give
opportunities for participation.  It's a very
affordable conference.  If you've been thinking
about it, but haven't made up your mind, now is
