Associate Membership Officer for Marketing

The Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world's finest museums, seeks an Associate Membership Officer for Marketing.  This position will be responsible for reviewing, developing, and maintaining marketing programs on the Web site, direct mail campaigns, and telemarketing and will report directly to the Associate Manager for National and International Programs.  Primary responsibilities and duties include: managing and maintaining statistics for Membership sales through the stores, admissions and the call center, and developing winner lists that adhere to Payroll's policies; attending marketing meetings including web group, privacy policy, as well as with the Counsel's office and Payroll on behalf of the Associate Manager for National and International programs; managing all marketing programs on the Web site and answering a high-volume of emails resulting from these initiatives; processing telemarketing pledges and handling all customer service problems, duplicate payments, complaints and statistics; maintaining statistics for Membership sales through the stores, admissions and the call center and developing winner lists that adhere to Payroll's policies; coordinating direct mail campaign efforts including acquisition and annual appeal campaigns, and other related duties as required.

Successful candidates will have previous experience in Membership, Development, or Design and Production office.  Must have the ability to handle a high volume of projects while maintaining the utmost level of customer service.  Must have the ability to adhere to deadlines every month for marketing programs.  Must have excellent interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.  Must be able to think creatively to solve problems and increase efficiency.
