Hi!

I am a new member (as of today). Do any of you happen to know the
guidelines or "rules" for when security guards are necessary and when they
are not?

Right now, we schedule security AT ALL TIMES that someone other than staff
is in the building. Whether it be regular open hours or an evening event or
a tour during hours that we are closed to the general public. Do you
sometimes fill in with other staff or even volunteers? Does that affect
accreditation?

We are trying to find ways to cut costs and eliminating security salaries to
a degree would cut costs considerably.

thanks for your help
