Contact Terry Birkett Collections Manager, at the  Detroit Institute of
Arts, ([log in to unmask] or 313 833 7900 and ask for him),  he probably
knows.  I had a hilarious incident once when an intern gingerly pointed her
toe at one to ask what it was.  It took a long time to wrench and twist it
off the bottom of her shoe because we were all convulsing in gales of
laughter!
