Salary Range:   $1918-$2557

Minimum Qualifications:  Bachelor's or Associates Degree and five
years experience in Parks & Recreation, History, Interpretation or
related field.  Special emphasis in frontier military and Native
American history preferred.  Management, communications and staff
supervision experience required.

Following skills preferred:
Excellent writing and oral communication skills
Effective time management and multi-tasking abilities
First Aid/CPR certified
Able to work with a variety of citizen groups, associations, and
foundations
Able to maintain effective working relationships with other agencies,
department employees, and the public.

Summary of Work:  Coordinate and manage natural and historical
interpretation of frontier military and Native American presence
encompassed at Fort Abraham Lincoln State Park.  Act as liaison between
park, special event groups, and private foundation interactions with
park.  Coordinate living history tours, special needs, and promotion of
park regarding interpretive activities.  Recruit, hire, train, and
supervise seasonal interpreters and volunteers.  Maintain appropriate
files and documentation for all interpretive activities.

Comments:  Workweek includes summer weekends and holidays.
