If nothing else, this discussion has made my colleagues and me think of a
new aspect of disaster planning - the looting scenario - and we are
beginning to consider secure locations for major works in our collection in
the face of societal anarchy. We like to think that this is an unimaginable
scenario, but unfortunately we have to believe, in our contemporary world,
that nothing is unimaginable.
