Smithsonian Fellowships in Museum Practice provides grants to museum
practitioners and scholars to research and write about topics of interest to
the museum field while in residence at the Smithsonian Institution.  Program
guidelines and application information are available at

Deadline for next application cycle: February 16, 2004 for fellowships
beginning after October 15, 2004.

The Smithsonian Fellowships in Museum Practice program is generously
