One of the best suggestions I've seen (and hope to implement soon) is to
create "Coordinator" positions for the various volunteer activities and
designate key volunteers to be in charge of making sure those are carried
out -- e.g., Front Desk Coordinator, Sales Shop Coordinator, Landscape
Coordinator.
