I would like to concur with Scott Williams that the "year/month/day"
is blissful when it comes to working directly with files. As a file
name it works beautifully, sorting numberically. I don't know what
happens when such information collides with the rest of the world,
and regarding standards, we've got to use them. So, "Ay, there's the
rub..."


On a "sorry to spam the listserv" note, the California Historical
Society has just upgraded to ISDN service and with it, has shortened
its domain name.  Our NEW EMAIL ADDRESS of "[log in to unmask]"
replaces  "[log in to unmask]"   This also implies that a Web site
with content is on the way.  --End of Pseudo-Spam---
