Your thesis sounds fascinating and I hope people will post replies for the
list or could you send any info on to me. I am more personally than
professionally interested. I gave a whole lot of posters and other material
to a museums from my days as anti-military activist in the End
Conscription Campaign. W were primarily an anti-apartheid organisation
but worked very closely with pacifist groups like the Quakers and the
Conscientious Objectors Support Group. Anyway this is an issue that I
hope museum sin SA will eventually address if only as part of the
broader issue of recent political and social history or the "Struggle". So I
would be keen to find out what other museums have done.
