I always think it's a little odd when I see job announcements that include
no information about the museum except its name.  Is this a history, art,
natural history, general, or some other kind of museum?  What kind of
collection would one be working with?  What is the museum's mission?  How
many staff?  These are things I'd like to know up front if I were looking
for such a position.
