The Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum is currently seeking motivated
individuals with excellent writing, organization and communications skills.
For the following positions, you must possess a Master' or undergraduate
degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or Communications and
have success placing materials with print and electronic media.

INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

You will be responsible for planning and executing media relations
campaigns to attract positive national and international media and public
awareness.  Working with a PR staff you will be responsible for
coordinating efforts, researching and writing/editing news releases.  At
least 5 years PR experience at the executive or management level is
required.

REGIONAL PUBLIC RELATIONS REPRESENTATIVE

You will be responsible for researching, writing and editing news releases
primarily in Chicago and the State of IL along with forming contacts with
media.  Other duties include planning and executing media relations
campaigns in order to increase attendance and create new ways to reach
target audiences.  A minimum 3 years experience in Journalism, Public
Relations or Communications is required.
