My uncle has asked me to help him go through the objects and buildings at our
family's 150 year old California ranch, to try to determine what is there and
it's historical, cultural value.  Does anyone have any suggestions for books
that might help us in this quest? Or that might give me background about
rural California culture in late 19th early 20th century?
