We have a position open for a full time Assistant Director of the Deer
Valley Rock Art Center. Please pass this message along to anyone who you
think might have an interest in applying for the position. Note that
while the official dealine is short, we have a rolling deadline for

Administrator. Arizona State University's Department of Anthropology
seeks an Academic Associate to manage the day-to-day operations of The
Deer Valley Rock Art Center, an interpretive and research center at a
major petroglyph site in Phoenix, Arizona. Duties include administration
and coordination of the Center's public and research activities.
Requires MA or equivalent education and/or work experience in
anthropology, museum studies, or related field; strong managerial,
communication, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated knowledge of
Southwestern native cultures; interest in rock art; computer experience.
Salary upper-20s. Send letter of application and resume, with names,

Deadline 6/15/98, or weekly thereafter until position is filled.  ASU is
