Based on the Task Force Report on Museums and First Peoples and its own
experience with regard to co-management of culturally sensitive materials,
the Museum of Anthropology in Vancouver has developed two sets of
guidelines with regard to this subject: "Guidelines on Repatriation of
Canadian First Peoples' Cultural Materials Housed at the Museum of
Anthropology," and "Guidelines for Management of Culturally Sensitive
Materials."

Copies of these documents are available online at the Museum's website,
www.moa.ubc.ca, under the heading "First Nations Resources."

****Note: some areas of our site are undergoing reconstruction at this
time, so not all web pages may be available at all times. If this is the
case, and you want a hard copy of any document, please contact Jennifer
Webb, Communications Manager, Museum of Anthropology at
[log in to unmask] or by phone at 604-822-5950. (Please give me
your fax number so I can send you the materials.)
