In conjunction with that (the information for which is

If you can perform the essential functions of your job
(mandatory), then they need to accommodate you and are
most probably way the hell out of line.  If the
concern is having you have a seizure in public, unless
it's a safety hazard where you would fall down stairs,
they're probably way out there in terms of legalities.
 If they must, they could transfer you to another
position within the organization if the concern is the
public (not valid, but transfer is), but you should
not be compensated any less.
