Max Ary, the former director of the Kansas Cosmosphere and currently on 
leave as director of the Oklahoma Omniplex science museum, received a 
sentence of three years prison for selling off objects in the Cosmosphere 
collection.  He claimed that he accidentally confused items with those in 
his own collection.
