We are beginning to write a new compensitory time policy at the Cranbrook
Institute of Science. If your museum has one that you think is humane and
also works, we would be like to receive a copy.  We understand that this
issue is one that is extremely sensitive to those who feel that they work
(and often are required to work) at odd times and for spurts that exceed
their work week and would like to write a policy that is fair but one that
recognizes that professionals do not work on an hour-for-hour comp.time
schedule.

We understand the requirements of non-exempt employees.  It is the exempt
professional employees that we are writing this policy for.
