SCIENCE CASEBOOK - A NEW INTERACTIVE WWW EXHIBIT
         'THE BEAST OF BODMIN MOOR'

   <URL:http://www.nhm.ac.uk/sc/index.html>

---------------------------------------------------------------
Tales of mysterious large animals abound in Britain, with
sightings as far apart as Kent and Scotland.

Photographs and even films had been taken of these beasts,
but there has been little physical evidence to support the
sightings. That was until recently when a 14-year-old boy
discovered a skull with large fangs, in the River Fowey on
Bodmin Moor in Cornwall.

'The Beast of Bodmin Moor' is the story of how The Natural
History Museum tracked down this beast...

Science casebook invites you through the Museum's doors where
some of the most exciting and innovative natural science in
the world is being carried out.

Science casebook is your chance to see Museum science in action.
You will be able to:

Discover what is behind the Museum's 'closed doors'
Explore the range of our scientific activities
Experience the processes behind these activities

Science casebook shows the influence of Natural History Museum
science on all our lives - from space exploration to medicine.
