John,

Wesley brings up a good point. On the other hand, the online JHU Program brings in many students who are already working museum professionals. We are doing projects and I can tell you I'm learning things on Sunday that I'm using on Monday. Conversely, there are things that I'm doing at work that now make more sense because of what I'm reading and learning from class. And with classmates who are museum professionals we aren't just learning from readings or the lectures, but also from each other. I can't tell you how much I've learned from classmates from Boston, Toronto, San Francisco, Texas and Hong Kong for example.

So seriously check out the link Dana provided tonight if you can.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] Johns Hopkins MA program

Hi all,

I have been looking into Johns Hopkins online MA program in Museum Studies. Has anyone on the list gone through this program? What did you think about it?

Thanks.
